How to Install pptpd software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pptpd software package provides PoPToP Point to Point Tunneling Server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pptpd

pptpd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pptpd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pptpd *

You will get with pptpd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
